A simple but flavour packed protein snack! Only 5-ingredients for these deliciously crispy roasted chickpeas.

I’ve always loved roasted chickpea snacks but the ones in the store are either expensive, wrapped in 3 layers of plastic, or filled with preservatives. These roasted chickpeas rich and little spicy but it uses simple ingredients to keep it easy and allergy friendly.
I tried following a few recipes before but the chickpeas either came out soft or went soft when they cooled. So far, these chickpeas have lasted about 3 days before they lose their crispiness.

Vegan Roasted Curried Chickpeas

Spicy and flavourful roasted chickkpeas.
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas
- A few grinds of salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- a dash smoked paprika
- a tsp of Cajun spice
Directions
Step 1: Pre-heat an oven to 230C. Place a tray in the oven while it is heating to ensure that it is hot when placing the chickpeas on it.
Step 2: Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Using a tea towel thoroughly dry the chickpeas.
Step 3: Once the chickpeas a dry, toss them with oil and salt. Pour them onto the heated tray and bake for 30 mins.
Step 4: After 30 mins immediately toss the chickpeas with the remaining spices.
